About the Author
Dr Tereza Raquel Merlois a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), affiliated with the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBICT), and a Professor at the University of North Texas (UNT), where she teaches courses on Knowledge Management Tools and Technologies. She is also the CEO of Merlo Management Consulting, delivering global business solutions. She holds a PhD in Organizational Management with a minor in Information Technologies and two Master’s degrees in Information Sciences from the Federal University of Bahia and UNT. She has received awards for leadership, project management, diversity and inclusion, and business development and earned prestigious scholarships, including CAPES and Fapesb scholarships. An active contributor to academic journals and conferences, she serves on editorial boards and the international advisory board of the International Conference on Knowledge Management (ICKM). Dr Merlo is the author and editor of influential books on Knowledge Management and AI, including the forthcoming AI-Driven Revolution: Transforming the Business Landscape.
Dr Patricia de Sá Freireis a distinguished professor at the University of Santa Catarina, Brazil, specializing in Knowledge Management and Digital Learning. With extensive experience in educational technology integration and faculty development, her research focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance teaching methodologies and student engagement. She is a sought-after speaker at international conferences, bridging innovation and practical application in academia. Dr Freire has authored 18 books and published over 300 articles, establishing her reputation in Brazil’s organizational innovation ecosystem and shaping the dialogue on education’s future in Latin America. She holds rights to six organizational innovation frameworks. She was recognized as the Most Innovative Professor of 2024 by the Federal University of Santa Catarina.
