From the Author
---
This is my third book taking a deep dive into Photoshop's tools, this time specifically for photography! You'll find some content from my previous two books mixed in with a ton of new information and examples. This edition is aimed squarely at photographers who want a broad set of skills to be ready for virtually any challenge.
While my previous titles went deep on specific tools, The Hidden Power of Photoshop for Photographers approaches techniques and provides context on how to adapt those techniques to new situations from problem solving to creative exploration. There is still a lot of technical information, but it's presented to support learning and understanding while you're working. My hope is to open up the "why" along with the "how" to embed core concepts with a concrete connection to the tasks at hand.
I really enjoy working with and writing about Photoshop because I love to participate in discovery. If you take delight in something new from my books, then my goal has been achieved!
-Scot.
