“I’ve delved into the treasure trove of Salesforce DevOps for Architects and found it to be an invaluable resource for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of DevOps in the Salesforce ecosystem. This book is not just a technical manual; it’s a comprehensive guide covering everything from fostering a DevOps culture to mitigating project risks and enhancing ROI through practical DevOps principles.
The authors provide clear insights into various DevOps tools, scalable tech stacks, and actionable strategies tailored specifically for Salesforce development. Their approach makes complex concepts accessible, with real-world examples that effectively illustrate how to implement these strategies.”
Shashank Garg, Lead Salesforce Architect and Solution Specialist at TCS, 21X SF Certified
“In this book, the authors cover a brief history of DevOps in Salesforce, which reminded me of my journey using Salesforce tooling. I did not get to use s-controls, but I did use the Salesforce migration tool and MavensMate quite a lot!
They explain what it means to follow a DevOps culture and the benefits it brings to companies, as well as to individuals. I loved the comparison of different branching strategies, as well as the dialectic and beauty with which the book is written, and I think it’s a must-read!”
Alba Rivas, Principal Developer Advocate at Salesforce
